Garant Snus is a range of tobacco-free nicotine pouches. In the Snupax catalogue on 9 October 2026 the brand runs from the Light line at 11 mg/g up to Freeze Extreme at 70 mg/g. The familiar Extreme Line sits at 50 mg/g and, in the usual slim pouch, at 25 mg of nicotine per portion. A can of that line holds 27 pouches. The same concentration can mean fewer milligrams in a mini pouch, because there is less material in the portion.
What is Garant Snus?
Someone who searches for “garant snus” usually wants a specific can: which flavour, which strength, how many pouches, what price. The name itself is easy to misread. In search, “snus” has become a catch-all for anything that goes under the lip. In the Garant range as Snupax lists it, the white can does not contain tobacco leaf.
The pouches are plant fibre, nicotine and flavour. They sit under the upper lip. Nicotine passes through the lining of the mouth into the blood, and nothing is lit. In the catalogue the same products are also called nicotine pouches. “All white” describes the pale filling: no brown tobacco that stains teeth and saliva. The product name Garant Snus stays, because that is how people search. On the English Snupax homepage the shop’s own line is clear: it sells tobacco-free nicotine pouches, nicotine strips and supplements, not traditional tobacco snus.
The brand is built around strength, not around one mild everyday can. Even the lowest Garant step listed at Snupax, the Light line, is 11 mg/g. Prime Collection is 15.5 mg/g. Ice Cool is 35 mg/g. The Extreme Line is 50 mg/g. Freeze Extreme is 70 mg/g. If you are coming from cigarettes, or from weak pouches of another brand, match the line to your own habit, not to the flavour name. “Extreme” on a Prime can is not the same thing as “Extreme” on a 50 mg/g can. That mix-up is the most common one in the range, and it is spelled out below.
Snupax ships the brand with GLS and UPS to European countries, including Germany. Delivery is usually 2 to 7 working days, depending on the destination. Orders placed before 11:00 GMT+2 leave the warehouse the same working day. Shipping is free from a basket of €90. After registration, new customers get 15 percent off the first order. Nicotine products are limited to people aged 18 and over.
From Grant to Garant
The brand used to be called Grant and is now called Garant. What changed is the spelling, and, within a narrow range, the look of the cans. The idea behind the recipe stayed: strong tobacco-free pouches at an accessible price. If an older pack, an old note or a search still says “Grant”, it is this brand. The mistype “Grand” points at the same pouches in practice, not at a third line.
Garant is made by UAB Kordula in Lithuania. Import and the brand’s public face are also linked with Estonia. For an order at Snupax, the manufacturer line matters less than the two numbers on the product card: milligrams per gram, and milligrams per pouch. On almost every variety those numbers sit on the tile, before the price.
Tobacco-free pouch and chewing tobacco
Under the word Garant a second product type still turns up now and then: chewing tobacco in pouches, also called chew bags. The filling is washed tobacco, not the white plant fibre of the nicotine pouches. The same concentration figure, for example 50 mg/g, can therefore sit on two different cans and still mean something else.
Snupax does not stock that tobacco. The homepage says traditional tobacco snus is not sold. If a description says “chewing tobacco”, “tobacco leaf” or “washed tobacco”, it is not the white Extreme can in this guide. The difference is also a legal one. In Germany, tobacco products for oral use may not be placed on the market under section 11 of the Tobacco Products Act (Tabakerzeugnisgesetz). A tobacco-free nicotine pouch does not fall under that section merely because the search word is “snus”. How the authorities classify the tobacco-free pouches is in its own section below.
How strong is Garant Snus?
The short answer from the Snupax catalogue: Light 11 mg/g, a middle band around 18 to 25 mg/g, Prime 15.5 mg/g, Ice Cool 35 mg/g, Extreme 50 mg/g, Freeze 70 mg/g. The second number, milligrams per pouch, depends on the format. In the slim pouch of the Extreme Line that is 25 mg. In the mini format of the same concentration it is 19.5 mg. Freeze Extreme puts 35 mg in the portion, at 70 mg/g.
Cold in the flavour and the amount of nicotine are two separate axes. A fruity Extreme variety is dosed just as high as the mint Extreme.
For scale, without softening the brand: many pouches that people know from switching off cigarettes sit in the single digits, or just into double digits, of milligrams per pouch. 25 mg in an Extreme pouch is a different product. 35 mg in a Freeze portion is another step up. Those two lines are for people who already tolerate a high dose of nicotine. They are not a first can “just to see how it feels”.
The Light line is the lower edge at Snupax, not a nicotine-free alternative. 4.8 or 5.5 mg per pouch at 11 mg/g is closer to an ordinary everyday pouch than to Extreme, but it is still nicotine. Prime, at 10.8 mg per pouch, sits in between, and on several cards the flavour name still carries the word Extreme. Ice Cool, at 17.5 mg per pouch, is already the strong menthol step, even though the name sounds cooler than “Extreme”.
| Line | mg/g | mg per pouch | What the step is for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Light | 11 | 4.8 or 5.5 | The lower Garant step. Still nicotine, not a trial size for people with no nicotine experience. |
| Medium, without the Extreme tag | 18, 20 or 25 | 9, 10 or 12.5 | Everyday strength inside the brand, such as Mint, Cola, Cherry or Wild Berry. |
| Prime Collection | 15.5 | 10.8 | A heavier pouch at a medium concentration. Here the word Extreme often names the flavour only. |
| Ice Cool and Fresh Mint | 35 | 17.5 in slim, 13.7 in mini | A strong menthol step below the 50 mg/g line. |
| Extreme Line | 50 | 25 in slim, 19.5 in mini | Ultra strong line. Slim can with 27 pouches. |
| Freeze Extreme | 70 | 35 | The highest Garant concentration listed at Snupax. For experienced users only. |
| Strips | not shown on the tile as mg/g | 7 on Ice Cool Strips, 11 on Extreme Strips | A different form from the pouch. The number is the dose of the strip. |
From mg/g to mg per pouch
Two numbers sit on almost every tile, and they get mixed up constantly. Milligrams per gram describes the concentration in the filling. Milligrams per pouch describes how much nicotine is in the single portion. The second number is concentration times pouch weight.
The sum is short. 50 mg/g times a 0.50 g pouch gives 25 mg in the portion. 70 mg/g times 0.50 g gives 35 mg. 35 mg/g times 0.50 g gives 17.5 mg. 15.5 mg/g times 0.70 g gives about 10.85 mg, rounded in the catalogue to 10.8 mg. The same Extreme line can hold only 19.5 mg in a lighter mini pouch, while the tile still says 50 mg/g. If you sort varieties by only one of the two numbers, you sometimes sort the pouch weight in with them.
| Variety in the catalogue | mg/g | mg per pouch | Weight, by calculation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Extreme Line, slim | 50 | 25 | 0.50 g |
| Extreme Mini, Extreme Cherry Mini, Ice Peach Mini | 50 | 19.5 | 0.39 g |
| Freeze Extreme | 70 | 35 | 0.50 g |
| Ice Cool, Fresh Mint | 35 | 17.5 | 0.50 g |
| Ice Cool Mini | 35 | 13.7 | 0.39 g |
| Prime Collection | 15.5 | 10.8 | 0.70 g |
| Medium, for example Cola or Cherry | 20 | 10 | 0.50 g |
| Wild Berry, Melon, Orange | 25 | 12.5 | 0.50 g |
| Mint | 18 | 9 | 0.50 g |
| Light, for example Mango-Lime Light | 11 | 5.5 | 0.50 g |
| Light, for example Extreme Light | 11 | 4.8 | 0.44 g |
The mini switch is the practical case. Moving from a slim Extreme at 25 mg to a mini Extreme at 19.5 mg lowers the portion, not the concentration. The burn and the speed can stay similar. The total in that one pouch is smaller. The other way round, Prime delivers 10.8 mg despite a lower concentration, because the pouch is about 0.7 g, heavier than the 0.5 g slim. A Prime can is therefore not “half as strong” as a medium can at 10 mg, just because 15.5 mg/g looks smaller than 20 mg/g. The portion is almost the same.
Before you compare, check three fields. First, the unit behind the big number. Second, whether a second number says “per pouch” beside it. Third, whether the card says slim, mini, Prime or strips. If the format is missing, the portion figure cannot be read. If the pouch weight is missing, work it out by division: mg per pouch divided by mg/g gives the weight in grams. If the result is clearly off 0.39, 0.44, 0.50 or 0.70, one of the two numbers on the card does not match the other. Then the product page counts, not your memory of another variety.
The lines in the Snupax catalogue

Light, 11 mg/g
This is the lowest Garant step in the catalogue, and it is still a nicotine dose. Mango-Lime Light, Fresh Mint Light, Ice Blueberry Light, Ice Peach Light, Wild Berry Light and Orange Light are at 5.5 mg per pouch. Extreme Light, Melon Light, Mint Light and Ice Cool Light are at 4.8 mg per pouch, at the same concentration of 11 mg/g. The 0.7 mg gap comes from a slightly lighter pouch, not from a second Light philosophy. The name Extreme Light means the flavour direction of the Extreme mint in the weak filling. It does not mean 50 mg/g.
Medium without the Extreme tag
This is where most of the everyday flavours sit. Licorice, Ice Guava, Coconut, Citrus, Pineapple, Energy Drink, Cola, Grape, Cherry, Raspberry, Ice Blueberry and Ice Peach are listed at 20 mg/g and 10 mg per pouch. Mint sits a little lower, at 18 mg/g and 9 mg. Wild Berry, Melon and Orange sit higher, at 25 mg/g and 12.5 mg. If you want a fruit can and not the ultra strong version, take the name without “Extreme”. Ice Peach and Ice Peach Extreme are two products. The same split applies to Cherry, Raspberry, Blueberry, Mango-Lime, Cola, Energy Drink and the other pairs.
Prime Collection, 15.5 mg/g

Frost Berry, Arctic Frost, Ice Cool, Ice Cool Peppermint, Extreme and Wintergreen carry 10.8 mg per pouch in this line. At about 0.7 g, the pouch is the heaviest in the comparison. The flavour is built on cold and mint, plus a berry direction. The Extreme tag on “Prime Extreme” names the flavour line, not the 50 mg/g dose. If you want the ultra strong mint, you need the card “GARANT Extreme” without the word Prime. If you want a cooler portion around 11 mg, Prime Collection is the right place.
Ice Cool, 35 mg/g
Ice Cool and Fresh Mint sit at 17.5 mg per pouch. That is well above medium and well below Extreme. Ice Cool Mini stays at 35 mg/g and drops to 13.7 mg per pouch, because the portion is lighter. This step is the menthol choice for people who find 25 mg in the Extreme portion too much, and 10 mg in the medium too little. It is not a gentle first can.
Extreme Line, 50 mg/g
This is the line people search for most often, after the brand name itself. On the Snupax homepage the sentence that sums the line up is there: selected pouches offer up to 50 mg/g and 25 mg per pouch, and the cans contain 27 pouches. In the catalogue these slim varieties, among others, carry exactly that pair: Extreme, Cherry Extreme, Ice Peach Extreme, Ice Blueberry Extreme, Raspberry Extreme, Ice Cool Extreme, Pineapple Extreme, Orange Extreme, Mango Lime Extreme, Licorice Extreme, Grape Extreme, Fresh Mint Extreme, Energy Drink Extreme, Cola Extreme, Coconut Extreme and Citrus Extreme. Ice Guava Extreme is also listed at 25 mg per pouch and 50 mg/g.
The mini cards Extreme Mini, Extreme Cherry Mini and Extreme Ice Peach Mini stay at 50 mg/g and state 19.5 mg per pouch. If you take the mini expecting “the same effect in a smaller pouch”, you get the same concentration and a smaller portion. That sits more comfortably under the lip. It is not the same amount of nicotine.
Freeze Extreme, 70 mg/g
Freeze Extreme is the highest Garant concentration in the Snupax catalogue: 70 mg/g and 35 mg per pouch. The name describes a very cold mint direction and, at the same time, the dose. This can is not the cooler version of Ice Cool. Ice Cool is 35 mg/g. Freeze is double the concentration, and double the portion of the Ice Cool slim. People used to Prime or Light should skip this card.
Strips, 7 mg and 11 mg
Beside the pouches, Snupax lists Garant strips. Ice Cool Strips are marked 7 mg, Extreme Strips 11 mg. That is a different form. A strip is not pushed under the lip like a pouch and left there for half an hour. The number on the tile is the dose of the strip, not an mg/g concentration you can convert with a pouch weight. Older videos that describe these strips as “not on the market yet” are out of date against the catalogue of 9 October 2026: Ice Cool Strips were listed as in stock on the homepage that day.
Flavour, without mixing up the strength

Mint, peach, blueberry and raspberry exist in more than one line. The flavour says nothing about the milligrams.
The flavours repeat across the lines. That is useful if you already know a flavour and only want to change the strength. It is the main source of mix-ups if you only read the fruit name.
Mint and cold: Extreme as a sharp mint, Ice Cool, Fresh Mint, Ice Cool Peppermint, Arctic Frost, Wintergreen, Freeze. The same cooling sits on Light, on Prime, on 35 mg/g, on 50 mg/g and on 70 mg/g. The coldest impression is not automatically the highest dose, but Freeze joins the two. If you want cold and want to stay at 17.5 mg, stay with Ice Cool. If you want cold and want the top of the range, take Freeze Extreme and know that 35 mg is in the portion.
Fruit: Ice Peach, Cherry, Raspberry, Mango-Lime, Pineapple, Orange, Grape, Citrus, Melon, Guava, Coconut. Almost every one of these directions exists at least twice, once in medium or Light and once with the Extreme tag at 50 mg/g. Peach with green mint tastes milder than the bare Extreme mint. The slim card Ice Peach Extreme still delivers the full 25 mg. A sweet flavour does not soften the nicotine.
Berry: Ice Blueberry, Wild Berry, Frost Berry. Wild Berry without the Extreme tag is 25 mg/g and 12.5 mg per pouch. Ice Blueberry Extreme is 50 mg/g and 25 mg. Frost Berry in Prime Collection is 15.5 mg/g and 10.8 mg. Three berry names, three steps.
Less obvious directions: Cola, Energy Drink, Licorice. The pair exists here too. Cola without the tag is 20 mg/g and 10 mg. Cola Extreme is 50 mg/g and 25 mg. Energy Drink and Licorice follow the same pattern. If you buy the can for the name and skip the second number, you can more than double the portion without changing the flavour.
Slim, mini and strips
Slim is the narrow standard format of the Extreme Line. Mini is lighter. Strips are their own form and do not come in this can.
The slim format is the normal case of the Extreme Line. The pouch is narrow enough to sit under the upper lip. The homepage gives 27 pouches for these cans. That is more than the 20 pieces many other brands count on, and it is why the number 27 shows up in search next to the brand name. The 27 has nothing to do with strength. A 27-pouch can could in theory hold any concentration. On the Extreme Line it is the combination of 27 pieces, 50 mg/g and 25 mg per pouch.
Mini is the compact version. In the catalogue, Ice Cool Mini, Extreme Mini, Extreme Cherry Mini and Extreme Ice Peach Mini are marked that way. The calculated weight is about 0.39 g instead of 0.50 g. The concentration stays that of the line, 35 or 50 mg/g. The portion drops to 13.7 or 19.5 mg. Mini is the choice when the pouch should sit smaller. It is not the choice when you want to cut the nicotine in half. The gap is too small for that, and Light and medium exist for that.
Prime is neither a mini nor a slim of the same weight. From 10.8 mg at 15.5 mg/g it follows that the pouch is about 0.7 g. It fills more under the lip. If you are used to slim Extreme and switch to Prime, you notice the volume before you do the sum. The nicotine portion falls from 25 mg to 10.8 mg, less than half, even though the pouch feels larger.

Strips do not fit this scheme. The tiles named here have no mg/g figure and no 27-pouch can. Ice Cool Strips at 7 mg and Extreme Strips at 11 mg are separate items. Compare them with pouches only through the stated dose of the single piece, and read the use on the product page before you treat a strip like a pouch.
What a can costs at Snupax
On 9 October 2026 there was no single Garant price, but a tight band. On the homepage the Garant items shown there, including Raspberry Extreme and Ice Cool Strips, had a unit price of €3.29. Beside that were strike-through and bundle prices, for example €38.70 and €32.90. In the brand search, unit prices sat more often between €2.93 and €3.61, depending on the line. Ice Cool was shown at €2.93 per piece, with a bundle of €29.30 instead of €35.50. Several Extreme varieties were at €3.29, Prime varieties at €3.61, part of the medium range at about €2.98, and Cherry in medium at €3.19.
The unit price and the bundle price belong together. 32.90 divided by 3.29 is 10. That fits a ten-pack from the numbers on screen. The tile does not spell out the pack size in every case. Divide the bundle price by the unit price before you compare it with a single can. The struck-through number in front of it is the higher starting price, not the amount that is charged.
Shipping is added while the basket stays under €90. Above that, delivery is free. A single can at a unit price of about €3 is therefore not yet the amount that arrives the first time. A basket that reaches the free-shipping line pays off through the unit price of the ten-packs. New customers get 15 percent off the first order after registration. That applies to that order, not as a permanent can price.
Stock on the homepage was positive that same day for the Garant items shown, including Raspberry Extreme and Ice Cool Strips. Search lists many more varieties than the homepage lifts into the first tiles. Whether a particular Light or mini card can be shipped on the day you order is on the product page. This guide records the strengths, not a live warehouse.

Which line fits which habit
The choice gets simple once you put the line ahead of the flavour. The flavour can be swapped. The line cannot.
You already use ultra strong pouches and you want the sharp mint. Then GARANT Extreme at 50 mg/g and 25 mg per pouch is the card the name promises. The same dose in fruit is Ice Peach Extreme, Cherry Extreme, Raspberry Extreme and Ice Blueberry Extreme. The same dose in a smaller portion is the mini cards at 19.5 mg.
25 mg is too much for you, and you want to keep mint. Ice Cool at 35 mg/g and 17.5 mg per pouch is the step below. Fresh Mint sits on the same numbers. Ice Cool Mini lowers the portion to 13.7 mg without leaving the 35 mg/g concentration.
You want about 10 mg in the portion. There are two routes, and they feel different in the mouth. Medium varieties at 20 mg/g deliver 10 mg in a 0.5 g pouch. Prime Collection delivers 10.8 mg in a pouch of about 0.7 g. The first route is the wide flavour choice, from Cola to Guava. The second is cold, and a fuller pouch.
You want the lower edge of Garant. That is Light at 11 mg/g and 4.8 or 5.5 mg per pouch. That is still nicotine, and it is the wrong can for someone who has never used nicotine. No line in this catalogue is meant for that case. The German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) advises non-smokers, adolescents and children against use, because nicotine is addictive.
You are looking for the top of the range and you know what 25 mg does to you. Freeze Extreme at 70 mg/g and 35 mg per pouch is that top. It is not a curiosity can, and it is not a stand-in for an empty Extreme pack, “just a bit colder”. The portion sits 10 mg above the slim Extreme.
How a pouch is used
Handling is the same across the pouch lines. Open the can, take one pouch with dry fingers, place it under the upper lip, leave it there, then take it out and put it in the residual waste. Do not chew it, do not swallow it, and do not treat it as food. Saliva can carry nicotine with it. That is why uptake is discussed not only through the lining of the mouth, but also through swallowed saliva.
The catalogue cards do not give a binding manufacturer time for how long it stays in. About 20 to 30 minutes is usual. The first part of that time tastes strongest. If it burns, if your circulation reacts, or if you feel sick, take the pouch out. A second pouch straight after, because the first tasted of peach and felt harmless, adds the dose. Fruit and mint do not change the milligrams.
Strips follow the instructions on their own product page. Do not copy the pouch rules onto a strip without checking, and do not copy the strip dose onto an Extreme can.
Do not leave the can open where anyone can reach it. The BfR points out that nicotine pouches must be kept out of children’s reach. The same applies to anyone who is not using these products on purpose. On the numbers on the cards, Extreme and Freeze are not a trial size.
Is one pouch a day already a lot?
The question “is 1 snus a day harmful?” sticks to the brand search because the doses are high and the single pouch looks harmlessly small. An honest answer has no free pass.
In its updated opinion No. 023/2022 of 7 October 2022, the BfR writes that at least half of the nicotine in the pouch can be absorbed. The measured blood levels sat in a range that is also reached after smoking conventional cigarettes. With highly dosed products, blood levels were clearly higher than after a cigarette. A Garant Extreme pouch at 25 mg, and a Freeze portion at 35 mg, belong in the region the cards mark as strong to highest. A single pouch of that kind is therefore not a symbolic amount, even if it is the only one that day.
Nicotine is addictive. That is why the BfR names children, adolescents and non-smokers as groups for whom the risk is especially clear. Someone who has not used nicotine before raises their risk with every pouch, including one. For people who smoke, the institute discusses a harm-reduction continuum. Cigarettes stand at the upper, very harmful end. Switching to a nicotine product without combustion can lower the risk, provided the nicotine uptake is not higher than before. That condition is easy to miss at 50 and 70 mg/g. One pouch a day is then not a small amount, if it puts more nicotine into the bloodstream than the cigarettes it was meant to replace.
The BfR does not publish a harmless daily number in that opinion. If you mean a dosing question medically, that belongs in a consultation, not in a catalogue text. Pregnant women, breastfeeding women and people with cardiovascular disease are on the same opinion’s list of groups who should avoid these products. Nicotine passes into breast milk and acts on the heart and circulation.
The legal position in Germany
For tobacco for oral use the position is clear. Section 11 of the German Tobacco Products Act prohibits placing such products on the market. That covers classic snus and products that describe themselves as chewing tobacco. The white Garant pouches at Snupax are listed as tobacco-free. They do not fall under section 11 merely because the search word is “snus”.
For the tobacco-free pouches, the classification is disputed, and enforcement is still strict. In working paper WD 8 - 074/24, the research service of the German Bundestag recorded that for a long time Germany had no special rule of its own for nicotine pouches, because they contain no tobacco and therefore do not fall under the Tobacco Products Act. State authorities classify them as novel foods. In 2023 the Munich Administrative Court justified applying the food concept on the grounds that nicotine is absorbed through the lining of the mouth and through swallowed saliva. Under the Novel Food Regulation, novel foods may be placed on the market only if they are authorised and listed in the Union list. There is no such authorisation for nicotine pouches.
The BfR puts the same enforcement into one sentence in the 2022 opinion: nicotine pouches are currently classified by the state authorities as novel foods and are taken off the market because they exceed the acute reference dose for nicotine. In 2026, districts repeated that in general orders. In official gazette No. 27/2026, the Rheinisch-Bergisch district prohibited placing tobacco-free nicotine pouches on the market in its area, relying on Article 6(2) of Regulation (EU) 2015/2283. On 21 September 2026 the Höxter district issued a prohibition of the same content, regardless of the specific nicotine content. These are examples, not a complete list of states.
A more recent paper from the research service, EU 6 - 060/26, expressly leaves the food-law classification open until the Court of Justice of the European Union has decided. On 16 July 2025 the European Commission presented a proposal to recast the tobacco tax directive, which would bring nicotine pouches into the tax framework. Whether that becomes tobacco law, a food ban, or a product rule of its own is not settled at the date of this text.
Private legal questions depend on the individual case. This section is not advice for a specific offer, a specific district or a specific order. Anyone who handles these products commercially needs a competent check that goes beyond a guide.
What the BfR says about health
Opinion 023/2022 is the source you can cite without repeating a slogan. Nicotine pouches are described there as new, tobacco-free products with a powder of nicotine salts and carrier substances. The institute evaluated existing studies and included its own investigations. The pharmacokinetic point is the one already stated: at least half of the nicotine can be absorbed from the pouch, the blood levels are relevant, and at a high dose they are higher than after a cigarette.
The risk groups are in the same text. Children and adolescents, because dependence starts early and the can can look like a sweet. Non-smokers, because any new nicotine use raises the risk compared with not using it. Pregnant and breastfeeding women, because of the effect on pregnancy and the transfer into milk. People with cardiovascular disease, because nicotine loads the heart and blood vessels. The institute also notes that individual products in Europe were taken off the market after they exceeded the acute reference dose.
In the harm comparison, the BfR cites a scale of about 127,000 premature deaths a year in Germany from cigarette smoking, with a reference to the calculation method named there. Swedish tobacco snus is ranked in that text as clearly less dangerous than the cigarette, and at the same time as riskier than stopping altogether. White pouches contain no tobacco and therefore sit closer to other nicotine products without combustion. That does not make them without effect. The sentence the institute attaches fits Garant particularly well: a switch should not lead to more nicotine being absorbed than from the products someone used before. 50 mg/g and 70 mg/g are exactly the doses at which that warning becomes practical.
The 2022 opinion does not contain long-term data specifically on this brand’s highly dosed white pouches. Reading a Garant can as “no smoke, so no relevance” reads past the institute.
How to read the product card
Five fields are enough to compare one Garant card at Snupax with another. If they are not there together, the card is not ready to decide on.
First, the line name. Light, medium without Extreme, Prime, Ice Cool, Extreme, Freeze and strips are different products, even when peach or mint is in the name. Second, mg/g. Third, mg per pouch. Fourth, the format: slim, mini or strips. Fifth, the piece count, where it is stated. For the Extreme Line that is 27 pouches. A blanket “27” on mini or strips would be wrong, which is why it stands on the homepage with the Extreme Line and not as a rule for every tile.
Only then comes the price. A unit price of €2.93 for Ice Cool and €3.29 for Extreme is not a judgement of quality and not a judgement of strength. The strength is in the milligrams. The price only makes sense together with shipping, while the basket is under €90, and with the bundle price once you need more than one can.
If two cards of the same variety show different portion numbers, calculate the pouch weight. 25 mg at 50 mg/g is 0.50 g. 19.5 mg at 50 mg/g is 0.39 g. Then you have slim and mini in front of you, not two contradictory figures for the same can. That difference is in the catalogue itself and can be checked on the tile before the can goes into the basket.

Common questions
What is Garant Snus?
Garant Snus is the trade name for tobacco-free nicotine pouches of the Garant brand, formerly Grant. The pouches contain no tobacco leaf. At Snupax, a can of the Extreme Line holds 27 pouches at up to 50 mg/g and 25 mg per pouch. The same brand is also there as Light, medium, Prime, Ice Cool, mini, Freeze and as nicotine strips. Chewing tobacco under a similar name is a different product and is not stocked at Snupax.
How strong is Garant Snus?
In the catalogue of 9 October 2026 the span runs from 11 mg/g in the Light line to 70 mg/g for Freeze Extreme. The Extreme Line is 50 mg/g and 25 mg per slim pouch, and 19.5 mg in the mini. Prime is 15.5 mg/g and 10.8 mg per pouch. Ice Cool is 35 mg/g and 17.5 mg, and 13.7 mg in the mini. Medium varieties are usually 10 mg per pouch, some 9 or 12.5 mg. Light is 4.8 or 5.5 mg per pouch.
What does the number 27 mean?
27 is the piece count in the can of the Extreme Line, not the strength. The number has nothing to do with milligrams. Mini and strips follow a different count. Strength is stated separately as mg/g and as mg per pouch.
What does a can cost?
Unit prices on 9 October 2026: about €2.93 to €3.61 depending on the line. On the homepage the Garant items shown were €3.29 per piece. Delivery is free from €90. Below that, shipping is added. New customers get 15 percent off the first order after registration. Current amounts are on the product card.
Is Grant the same as Garant?
Grant is the earlier name, Garant the current one. The brand is the same. “Grand” is a mistype for the same pouches. On the product card, the current spelling counts together with the two milligram numbers.
Who makes Garant?
The brand is made by UAB Kordula in Lithuania. For choosing at Snupax, mg/g, mg per pouch and the format are the figures that decide. They are on the product card.
Is Garant Snus legal in Germany?
Tobacco for oral use may not be placed on the market under section 11 of the Tobacco Products Act. The white pouches at Snupax are tobacco-free. Authorities classify such nicotine pouches as an unauthorised novel food. The BfR notes that states take them off the market. Districts prohibited placing them on the market in 2026. The Bundestag’s research service treats the EU-law classification as not finally settled. This is not legal advice.
Is one pouch a day harmful?
The BfR names no harmless daily dose. Nicotine is addictive. At least half of the nicotine from the pouch can be absorbed, and at a high dose with higher blood levels than after a cigarette. An Extreme or Freeze pouch sits in that high range, even if it is the only one that day. The institute advises non-smokers, adolescents, pregnant women, breastfeeding women and people with cardiovascular disease against use.
Which variety fits which habit?
Ultra strong mint is GARANT Extreme at 25 mg per pouch. The same step in fruit is Ice Peach, Cherry, Raspberry and Ice Blueberry with the Extreme tag. If 25 mg is too much and you want to stay with menthol, take Ice Cool at 17.5 mg. About 10 mg comes from the medium varieties and, with a heavier pouch, from Prime Collection. The brand’s lower edge is Light at 4.8 or 5.5 mg. Freeze at 35 mg per pouch is the top of the range and not a first can.
How long does the pouch stay under the lip?
About 20 to 30 minutes is usual. The catalogue cards do not give a binding time. Take it out as soon as it becomes unpleasant. Do not swallow it. Children do not get at the can. Strips have their own instructions on the product page.
